7th & 8th Grade Wrestling

7th and 8th Grade Wrestling Plan:  Our middle school wrestling team will be doing a skill-based season starting on February 8th- March 9th.  The wrestling coaches are creating a plan of how to split groups to abide by the safety protocols and mitigation guidelines used by Linn County Public Health/CDC. Practices may be before/after school.  There will not be any competitions with other schools. However, we will look to create some kind of intramural competition. We will send more details per the list of students who have signed up per the instructions in the upcoming paragraphs. 

At this time, we need anyone who has not signed up and is interested in 7th/8th grade wrestling to sign-up on our athletic registration site (https://prairie-ar.rschooltoday.com/) as soon as possible. This will provide us with the most accurate participant numbers. Along with sign-up, it is imperative each player provide the school with a completed physical form and concussion form. The concussion form is a part of the online registration process, physical forms can be uploaded to our athletic registration site as well. If you have provided these forms for a fall sport, you will not need to upload them again. 

Due to the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want parents to be aware of the risks of play. While we will work to mitigate these risks, parents and students are required to sign a permission form to allow their students to participate. This waiver confirms that students and parents understand the associated risks which are unique to this time. If you have already signed this waiver, you do not need to sign it again.
